The Women of Trinity meet monthly on the 2nd Saturday at 10 am, in the Fellowship Hall. All women are encouraged to join us in planning events through out the year, to include lefse making, bake sales, rummage sale, mission projects, special guest speakers, etc.
Quilting – The Quilting ladies meet weekly during the school year to tie quilts which are donated to local families or shipped overseas through Lutheran World Relief. This group meets Monday mornings from 9 am – 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall and would love to welcome anyone who can tie a knot!
Prayer Shawls – These special gifts are given to members or friends of Trinity who are in need of prayers and support during difficult times of their lives. Baptismal blankets are given to all the babies who are baptized. These prayer shawls and baptismal blankets are knit and crocheted by our members either on their own time or when they meet as a group. If you don’t know how to knit or crochet but would like to learn how, they will be happy to teach you.
Prayer Shawl Kits are available with yarn and instructions for crocheting or knitting. Don’t knit or crochet? Then donate $15 towards the cost of yarn for the three skeins needed for each shawl.
Service Committees – All women members of the congregation are included in one of the two Service Committees, and are encouraged to participate in them. These committees are an integral part of the congregation, assisting with providing food or serving lunch after a funeral or other church functions.
